Three Workouts Today!

I was able to work from home most of today so I hit up 4 intervals on the treadmill (high intensity interval training, of course -- who runs on a treadmill for an hour straight these days?). Then in the evening I hit up a CrossFit WOD at my gym, and then after that I had a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class. I should be exhausted but I'm pretty energized!

I also built a simple iPhone-friendly web page where I can store everything I eat and every workout I do. The four categories of diet listed are:
  1. Raw Vegan
  2. Vegan
  3. Paleo
  4. SAD (Standard American Diet)
Now I'll be able to quantify my eating habits over time very easily. In the past, this required logging onto notepads and storing at night. Now, when I am allowed to have my phone with me, I can store the results instantly! I love my iPhone!

I'm also storing morning weight measurements as well as bodyfat percentage as reported by my Tanita scale. Historical studies show that I typically lose about 1lb/day on raw vegan diets until I start leveling off between 180-185 lbs. This morning I was 206 so I am curious to see how I will weigh in tomorrow.

This weekend is the company retreat in Tahoe so I'll probably be skiing a ton... and drinking a bunch too. I'm looking forward to much-needed R&R -- even though we're barely into February, I'm already exhausted. Still, I wouldn't trade it for the world...
